Mission Statement

The Transportation Committee of APWA's Washington Chapter has the following goals:

• To share knowledge by being the premiere conduit for technical sessions at the chapter conferences
• In coordination with the Government Affairs Committee, advocate for legislation, policies, and practices that will lead to transportation systems that are more effective, more efficient, and more environmentally sustainable
• To raise the public awareness of the positive contributions of transportation professionals in the State of Washington

Meeting Times

We meet ONLY at the Spring and Fall Conferences, typically on the Thursday morning.  All other committee business is handled by phone or email.
