To provide an educational program that is responsive to the needs of public works personnel to encourage and facilitate professional growth, networking, and statewide uniformity of contract administration in order to efficiently serve the public.
The Contract Administration Education Committee (CAEC) received the APWA Washington State Chapter 2016 "Committee in Action" Excellence Award.
The Committee in Action Award recognizes a chapter committee that has provided/is providing exceptional value to the membership and/or the public works profession in Washington. This is the second time CAEC has received this award. In 2004, CAEC (known as CASC at the time) was selected as the first-ever recipient of the newly established Washington Chapter.
To register for CAEC workshops, select your workshop from the Calendar List. Online registration opens about a month in advance. An email notification will be sent out when registration is available.
CAEC Committee meetings are held on a quarterly basis, from 10:00 a.m. to noon.
