The City of Renton is seeking a Civil Engineer to perform complex technical, analytical, and professional duties in the area related to public drinking water systems. The ideal candidate will have experience planning and conducting large scale engineering studies and providing project management for the design and construction of capital improvement projects. In addition they will operate and maintain a hydraulic model of the water system, coordinate and direct outside engineering consultants and firms on assigned projects and studies.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND LICENSE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field. Four years of increasingly responsible experience in engineering in the field of public drinking water system and project management. Current Professional Engineer license preferred. Course work or work experience related to hydraulic modeling is preferred. Valid driver's license.
