Meeting & Webinar Resources for Committee Chairs

APWA WA Chapter has purchased resources to better facilitate virtual meetings for Committee Chairs and others conducting Chapter business.


How to book a Meeting: 

100+ People: Our plan covers 100 people; we can add additional capacity upon request. Meeting attendees can use audio, webcams, share screens and mark-up on the screen.

For your first meeting only:

Email apwa.washington@gmail.com to get instructions and login credentials to Zoom.
This is a one-time step and after initial set-up you can schedule / modify / cancel your meetings without coordinating with the Chapter.

1. Check the APWA Chapter online calendar to find an available meeting room by clicking the link.

2. Reserve your time slot: Invite "apwa.washington@gmail.com" to your meeting from your own personal calendar. (example Outlook, iCal, Google Calendar etc.)

Your reservation will appear on the APWA Chapter calendar as long as you are not overlapping another meeting within 1 day. You can double-check by clicking on the links on Step 1.

How to book a Webinar:

Up to 100 - 500+ people. This is a presentation / learning platform where attendees can ask questions via chat (or audio) while listening to your live or recorded presentation. Attendees do not have webcams. You can share your screen for any type of presentation materials including: PPT, video or any other media. You can also add handouts. Recordings of webinars are created automatically which can be edited for length if necessary and used for future trainings. Webinars can be offered for free or for a registration fee of your choosing. There are many other capabilities, such as "break out" rooms, please contact us to explore options.
