The Wastewater Treatment Plant Manager is primarily responsible for managing the operations of the City of North Bend’s Publicly Owned Treatment Works (POTW) including but not limited to the Wastewater Treatment Plant, pump stations, collection system and related equipment. The WWTP Manager manages and monitors the maintenance, repair and control of the POTW, plant, collection system, equipment and processes, and is responsible for directing and overseeing the work activities and personnel of the plant. The position requires a person with a variety of critical skills necessary to manage daily plant operations including maintenance, repair, budget, DOE permitting, technical applications of all treatment processes, supervisory skills, and capital projects oversight.
