The Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Contract Advertisement & Award Office has an exciting opportunity for you! Can you interpret contract documents and project estimates and determine if a contractor is qualified to construct a project? Are you skilled at performing reference checks and interpreting performance reports? As the WSDOT Contractor Qualification Analyst you will interpret documents such as performance reports, reference checks, financial statements and applications to maintain the qualifications of over 600 contractors on an annual basis. The Contractor Qualification Analyst is directly responsible for maintaining the prequalification limits of contractors, including bidding capacity, work experience and maintaining WSDOT's Small Works Roster. This position is responsible for maintaining qualification records and databases. Additionally, this position receives assistance from and provides assistance and training to four Contract Specialist 1 positions in the Contract Ad & Award Office, creates reports and performs data analysis, performs various duties in support of alternative delivery methods such as Design-Build and General Contractor/Construction Manager contracts and participates in and guides Lean process improvements.
