The WA Chapter applied for copyright status for the “Our Heroes” program this year. The Program focuses on providing recognition, opportunities, and training for our technical maintenance workers as well as creating awareness of their vital role within Public Works. These front-line responders bear the brunt of dirty jobs in their pursuit of maintaining our infrastructures, sometimes under less than ideal working conditions. The Fall 2015 Conference also will feature a round table discussion regarding the type of training front-line workers would like to see in developed into Roads Scholar Program in the State of Washington. To become involved or to get more information contact Dan Wesley, City of Covington, email@example.com.

Why a New Website?
WA Chapter Board chose to change to a new website platform because our previous website was built on aging technology that no longer supported our communication needs. Also the National APWA has developed a website platform that they have offered to the Chapters for Free. This comes along with Free website hosting and technical support as well, reducing our maintenance costs.
Please note that signing into the website will allow you access to additional webpages for members only. Don't remember your username and password? Go to: Reset Here
