Description :![]() The Construction Management Inspector Training Workshop is limited to 40 attendees. It consists of 16 education hours spread out over the course of four 4-hour classes held Thursday and Friday mornings. The class qualifies for 1.6 CEUs approved by APWA National and DOH for water certification. Dates: November 30, December 1, 7, & 8 Time: 8:00am - 12:15pm Cost: $600 APWA Members / $620 Non APWA Members Learn new tips and techniques to complete your job correctly, safely, on time and on budget. Participants will receive the Participant Guide Book – a great for reference once in the field. The book reflects the specifics of the WA State geographic, trends, and requirements. It also has two chapters focused on federally funded project’s documentation processes and procedures and sustainable construction practices. Instructor: Sam Yaghmaie, PE, LEED AP Sam has 30 years of experience in field inspection, construction materials engineering, design, construction materials QA/QC, geotechnical engineering, and Construction/project management of multiple public and private projects. Sam is currently a participant in revising the APWA national inspector’s Inspection Guide Book and has presented multiple Inspector’s Training Workshop for the past 8 years. He has managed design and construction of transportation, transit, public buildings, dams, tunnels, high rises, and water& wastewater infrastructures in WA. Highlights of Sam’s construction projects include METRO KC Original Tunnel in Downtown Seattle, multiple transportation projects for Seattle DOT; Sound Transit; WSDOT, Cedar River Dam, Seattle Central Library, Brightwater WWTP, and WA State Convention and Trade Centers. Sam has been the Chair of National APWA Sustainable Transportation Subcommittee, APWA WA Construction Management Committee, and past president of CMAA WA during the past 10 years.
