Robin has over 25 years working in Insurance and Risk Management encompassing a broad range of experience. Prior to coming to WCIA in 2014, Robin worked as a staff attorney at the Washington State Insurance Commissioner’s Office and claim attorney for a major insurance carrier. Robin is a past President of the Washington PRIMA chapter for municipal risk professionals.  Robin graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree and received her law degree from Seattle University School of Law.

Kara is a third-generation surety professional and has over 30 years of specialty surety experience. Kara is the owner of Integrity Surety; She is the past President of the Surety Association of Washington, a member of the National Association of Surety Bond Producers and is an active member and board member of several other Insurance and construction organizations. Kara advocates for education in the surety and construction industries; teaching classes to many different associations, educational institutions, and other stakeholders. She offers education material as well as authored surety books available to the public.
