Presenter:  Robin Aronson, Risk Services Manager, Washington Cities Insurance Authority

Robin joined Washington Cities Insurance Authority in 2015 as the Risk Services Manager. With more than 25 years’ experience in the Insurance field, Robin has had a broad range of experience. Prior to working for WCIA in municipal risk pooling, Robin, worked as a staff attorney at the Washington State Insurance Commissioner’s Office, claim attorney for a national insurance carrier, and a litigation attorney at an insurance defense law firm.  Robin is a past president of the Washington State chapter of PRIMA. 

Moderator:  Melissa Jordan, Acting Manager, Design & Construction Contracts, Sound Transit

With over 12 years of public procurement experience, Melissa currently serves as an Acting Manager in the Design and Construction Section at Sound Transit.  Previous to her employment at Sound Transit, Melissa worked at Pierce County Planning and Public Works as a Contract Coordinator.  Melissa is a Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB) and an Associate DBIA (Design Build Institute of America).
