This workshop (offered at 3 different dates and locations) focuses on purchasing in the morning and public works contracting in the afternoon by reviewing statutory requirements and recent legislative changes and demonstrating how to align those requirements with the specific needs of your agency. Attendees can earn APWA CAEC certification.
Who Should Attend? Local government purchasing and contracting staff (new and seasoned), public works employees, finance personnel, and managers, clerks, and administrative staff seeking to learn more about the procedures and practices required in making purchases and issuing or managing contracts.
