Morning Session:
Washington Cities Insurance Authority (WCIA) is a self-insured municipal risk pool, offering
liability, property and specialty insurance programs as well as risk management services to municipal
entities in Washington state.

Robin Aronson, JD, CPCU, ARM, AIC, Risk Services Manager, Washington Cities Insurance
Robin has over 25 years working in Insurance and Risk Management encompassing a broad range of
experience. Prior to coming to WCIA, Robin worked as a staff attorney at the Washington State
Insurance Commissioner’s Office, claim attorney for a major insurance carrier, risk manager for a
national retailer, and litigation attorney at an insurance defense law firm. Robin has also served as an
adjunct Instructor of Insurance at Bellevue College and an instructor for the Insurance Institute of
America. Robin graduated from the University of Washington with a business degree and received her
law degree from Seattle University School of Law.

Afternoon Session:
Integrity Surety LLC is a general surety agency providing corporate surety services across the United
States. Integrity Surety was established in an effort to offer exceptional service in a small and often
confusing industry. Our main objective is to provide the best service possible, understanding that
exceptional service means cultivating relationships with companies, agents and anyone who does
business with us. We continue to look for ways to better serve our customers through surety consultation
and education including, but not limited to continuing education for insurance agents and attorneys in
the surety industry.

Kara Skinner, Executive Manager
Kara is a third-generation surety professional and has over 25 years of specialty surety experience. She
obtained her Bachelors of Science in Business and continues her education through many industry
recognized programs. Kara is past President of the Surety Association of Washington, member of the
National Association of Surety Bond Producers and is an active member of several committees of other
Insurance organizations.
